Short term courses in the area of food production and bakery aim at enhancing the skill set of the youth in a very short duration. In one year, the students are trained in the critical areas of culinary arts and bakery. After one year of regular classes and practical training in college, the students will be sent to hotels and allied sectors for on the job training. After six months of training, the students will be working as regular employees. CCHMCT has the best placement record as every year large number of companies visit the campus to recruit our students. Some of the prominent hotel brands that visit the campus include- Hyatt Regency, Taj Hotels, Kempinski Hotels, Lemon Tree, Jubilant Foods etc. The diploma courses help the students to make their career not only in India, but abroad as well.

Eligibility Criteria

The students who have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is 25 years.
The students are selected through counseling conducted in second week of July.

The hotel Industry is one of the largest sectors of India. This sector is growing at a faster pace and huge requirement of manpower is expected in near future. This requirement is not only felt in India, but almost all the countries of the world facing shortage of man power in the hotel industry. The diploma in Food Production and Bakery aims to provide a good chance to the students to get absorbed in this sector after just one year of studies. Apart from working in hotels, the students can even set up their own venture anywhere - food courts, restaurants, etc. The students can set up their own mini bakery units and expect to have a rewarding business future ahead.
