Labs & Training Centres

Chandigarh College of Hospitality has a well-equipped, state of art labs for all the all the four major departments i.e. food production labs, Bakery and confectionery lab, Housekeeping lab and front office lab where the students get hand on training from Culinary chefs to be expert chefs of future. CCH has a restaurant named “FLAVOUR” to train the students keen to learn the skills and techniques of Food and beverages Service. This restaurant acts as a real-time practical training facility for our hospitality and catering students in the preparation and service of multi-cuisine food along with a variety of hot and cold beverages. The splendid design and decor of the infrastructure provides confidence among the students and they gain superiority among the same age group students from other institutes when they go on Industrial training.

TRAINING BAR

Chandigarh College of Hospitality has a fully equipped Training bar named “Cocktail Bar” for training the students to make them learn the nuances of operating the bar and making them Hospitality ready individuals. The Bar is equipped with latest equipment and an experienced bartender cum trainer to train the students. Training of Buffets set up and service, Banquet set up and service a part from Restaurants service is provided which installs confidence among the students. The practical experience provided at Chandigarh College of Hospitality makes the students Industry ready to work flawlessly in renowned hotels and restaurants chains.

FRONT OFFICE LAB

CCH has a well-designed front office lab updated with the latest software. The lab has an ambience of a hotel lobby so as to provide practical exposure of a five star hotel to the students. This is a place where students are taught about the importance of communication, rapport-building and situation-handling. The lab has all the ultra-modern facilities to impart training among students in both theory and practical sessions. Since, it is the first point of contact with the guests; students are taught about the basics of welcome note and addressing guests in the hotel industry.

HOUSE KEEPING LAB

The House keeping lab at Chandigarh College of Hospitality comprises of a mock room where the students are taken through the housekeeping procedures such as: Making of room, bed, cleaning and turndown service etc. A deluxe suite is also available to give the students practical exposure in housekeeping. Training on room decoration, linen management, laundry, use of chemicals, abrasives, flower arrangement, towel origami, sewing and other related jobs are provided to the students. The students are also made aware of the latest equipments used in the industry along with the contemporary Housekeeping skills
